Seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead the largest network of community health centers in Washington, DC. The CEO will oversee a team of compassionate and multicultural health professionals dedicated to providing high-quality, accessible healthcare to nearly 80,000 patients annually. Unity Health Care was founded as Health Care for the Homeless Project, but has since expanded its services to provide primary and specialty care to all District residents, including those in correctional facilities.
The CEO will be responsible for implementing Unity's values of whole-person care and wellness, as well as overseeing the organization's partnerships and collaborations with other Federally Qualified Health Centers in the DC area. Unity is a teaching health center, offering residency programs for Family Medicine and Family Nurse Practitioners to train the next generation of providers interested in working with underserved populations. The CEO will have the opportunity to pilot new models of care and innovate in a complex and ever-changing healthcare landscape in Washington, DC.
With opportunities for partnership and impact in the region, including a new hospital in Ward 8, the CEO of Unity Health Care will lead a team dedicated to increasing medical access and care in underserved areas of the city. The organization has received funding to support pathways for medical assistants to become registered nurses, further demonstrating their commitment to addressing the needs of medically vulnerable populations.
