The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) position at St. Michaels Centres (SMC) is a unique opportunity for a visionary leader to oversee a 128-bed long-term care home and 16-bed hospice, while upholding the organization's Christian faith-based mission, vision, and values. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and organizational stewardship to ensure all programs reflect a commitment to compassion, respect for the human spirit, and exceptional clinical and spiritual care. The CEO will be responsible for translating Board directives into actionable priorities, fostering a high-performing leadership team, and ensuring strict adherence to BC Residential Care Regulations for long-term sustainability.In addition to overseeing the administration of clinical programs, hospitality, and support services, the CEO will also serve as the primary representative of SMC, building trusted relationships with external partners such as the Fraser Health Authority (FHA), community leaders, and the organization's sponsors. The CEO will model leadership excellence to maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment for residents, families, staff, and volunteers, while championing a psychologically safe, person-centered workplace. This role requires effective implementation of Board directives, fiscal responsibility, and collaboration with external partners to shape the future of compassionate, holistic care at SMC.
