The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction to advance our client's mandate and long-term success. This includes overseeing global marketing, destination management, industry development, research and analytics, stakeholder engagement, and corporate stewardship. The CEO will also act as the primary representative to government, industry, Indigenous partners, and communities throughout British Columbia, playing a crucial role in guiding the next chapter of tourism growth by balancing destination stewardship with economic development, deepening Indigenous partnerships, and leveraging data and innovation.Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will have the opportunity to lead a multifaceted organization at a pivotal moment for the sector. They will be tasked with strengthening collaboration across a diverse tourism ecosystem and ensuring our client remains responsive to a rapidly evolving global environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future of tourism in British Columbia by driving forward initiatives that promote sustainable growth and enhance the overall visitor experience.
