Description

The client is seeking a Chief Executive Officer who will report to the Board of Directors and serve as the strategic leader of the organization. The CEO will have full profit and loss responsibility and will work in conjunction with The client to drive the organization’s vision and mission. This role will coordinate strategic initiatives and objectives to ensure financial health, lead by example, and communicate organizational goals to employees and customers as appropriate.

The CEO will establish and own end-to-end performance across the organization by implementing an operating cadence that drives accountability for labor utilization, route productivity, gross margin, and customer retention. Responsibilities include continuous margin improvement through job-costing discipline, reducing unbillable hours and route inefficiency, managing subcontractor and material spend, and building scalable shared services that generate operating leverage. The CEO will also lead the Operating Business System across the platform by deploying consistent operating tools, metrics, and cadence, and will drive organic growth through a commercially disciplined sales approach that supports profitable new business while protecting margin.

Key strategic and operational leadership areas include developing customer retention strategy tied to contract renewal performance, proactive account management, and annual repricing that reflects labor and material cost escalation while protecting recurring revenue. The CEO will lead expansion into new markets using a repeatable, disciplined launch framework and will oversee operational scaling by building and strengthening the senior leadership team. Additional responsibilities include overseeing core enterprise and field service platforms as operational assets, managing the workforce program as a competitive advantage, championing company-wide safety and regulatory compliance, and preparing the business for a sale within approximately 24 months while serving as the primary interface with the Board of Directors and The client, including business reviews and lender relationship management.
