the client will look for effective partnership across leadership roles in an entrepreneurial environment, with a proven ability to implement positive change. strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L are essential, including understanding key levers that drive profitability. the CEO should have experience leading a growth-oriented, profitable business where scalable people, processes, systems, and controls support sustained performance, and should be comfortable operating in a rapidly changing, disruptive context such as luxury goods, consumer products, retail, or technology.
the ideal candidate will have customer-facing experience and the ability to develop and communicate a compelling brand story that drives differentiation in the luxury goods space, including convincing US retail customers to adopt lab-grown diamonds in their product portfolios. experience or strong familiarity with US retail channels and deep relationships with buyers and senior executives is expected to be highly valued. experience in private equity or corporate board roles is preferred, along with excellent communication skills with board members and shareholders, a customer service orientation, and a cross-functional approach to bringing best practices across functions and leadership levels.
