The client is a leading blockchain digital media platform covering news and developments in blockchain technology, digital assets, and emerging fintech trends, with a large global audience. In addition to media and advertising, it operates multiple business lines, including consulting, data subscriptions, a job board, industry event management, and a marketplace, and it plans to incubate additional businesses as the industry evolves. The client is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide overall leadership and drive growth across this multi-line platform.
The CEO will set and execute strategic priorities to sustain market leadership, hire and manage leaders across business lines, and launch new businesses in response to market opportunities. The role includes continuously growing the user base and revenue, as well as establishing effective internal management practices to coordinate across units. Externally, the CEO will represent the client in public forums to advocate the brand and vision, manage relationships with investors and business partners, and lead or support fundraising initiatives.
Key qualifications include strong team leadership experience, including the ability to manage multiple business lines and large teams across units with P&L responsibility. The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with global stakeholders. Experience in digital media is a strong advantage, and up-to-date knowledge of the fintech and blockchain space is also expected to be an asset.
