The client is seeking a visionary Chief Executive Officer to lead with purpose and drive restoration, hope, and recovery for individuals and families experiencing poverty, hunger, and homelessness. The CEO will champion the organization’s faith-driven mission, provide bold and transformative leadership, and help inspire others to bring the vision to life while preserving and strengthening the organization’s identity and brand.
Key responsibilities include providing Christ-centered spiritual leadership; setting clear strategic direction; communicating a courageous future for the organization; fostering unity and servant leadership; and empowering and developing a leadership team. The CEO will also support revenue development by building and maintaining strong donor relationships, identifying and diversifying revenue growth opportunities, developing fundraising and donor engagement strategies, and applying entrepreneurial thinking to enhance revenue streams and long-term financial sustainability.
The role also involves serving as a key external representative by fostering relationships with donors, government leaders, and other stakeholders, developing strategic partnerships to expand impact, and advocating for poverty alleviation initiatives through sector coalitions. The CEO will ensure operational excellence and financial stewardship through process improvement, best practices in poverty ministry and nonprofit management, facility development and strategic asset utilization, staff training, and risk management; and will work closely with the Board of Directors and Board Chair to support governance, provide transparent updates on strategic initiatives and financials, and help guide board agendas and recruitment of new members.
