The client is seeking a CEO to lead a consumer products manufacturer and distributor based in the Tampa Bay area in Florida. The CEO will be responsible for driving the company’s growth and success by setting strategic direction and implementing initiatives that strengthen sales performance and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include leading the company’s overall strategy and vision, including the development of new brands and products; ensuring operational excellence across production, logistics, warehousing, and customer service; and building a sales culture that drives revenue and growth through retail, ecommerce, and distribution channels. The CEO will foster a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment, maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, partners, and suppliers, and represent the company in national and international forums to build industry reputation and presence.
The ideal candidate will have prior CEO-level experience with a proven track record managing all aspects of a consumer goods business, including strategy, branding, and sales, as well as production and logistics. Requirements include strong leadership, highly detail-oriented management of financial performance, proactive issue identification and rapid problem-solving, and solid communication skills to build and sustain stakeholder relationships. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is expected, with an MBA preferred, and prior experience in roles such as CEO, Chief Executive Officer, COO, Chief Operating Officer, General Manager, or Managing Director is appreciated.
