The Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (RCPA) is looking for a Chief Executive Officer to lead the College through its next phase. The CEO will report to a Board that values strong governance and accountability, and will be responsible for providing leadership to a team of around 50 people. Key responsibilities include leading advocacy efforts, enhancing member value, improving operational systems, shaping workplace culture, developing a new strategic plan in 2027, and celebrating the College's 70th anniversary in 2026.The successful candidate will be a values-driven leader who can navigate the challenges and opportunities in the evolving health landscape. They will need to demonstrate visible and steady leadership, as well as a commitment to fostering a constructive partnership with the Board. The CEO will play a crucial role in shaping the future direction of the College and ensuring its continued success as the recognised voice of the pathology profession.
