The client seeks an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to advance its mission of delivering a continuum of culturally sensitive healthcare services to Asian seniors. The organization operates a small campus and network of care and community programs across the Seattle metropolitan area, including skilled nursing, supportive housing and adult residences, home care and family caregiver support, and community-based health and wellness centers offering workshops, dementia support, nutrition programs, and technology assistance. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO provides overall strategic direction, operational leadership, financial stewardship, and external representation.
Key responsibilities include providing visionary leadership and managing day-to-day operations, partnering with the Board to develop and execute the strategic plan, and ensuring delivery of high-quality, culturally sensitive care in alignment with regulatory expectations and the organization’s mission. The CEO oversees financial management, budgeting, and long-term fiscal sustainability; builds relationships with residents, families, community partners, donors, government agencies, and other stakeholders; leads fundraising and development efforts to diversify and grow funding; and recruits, develops, and retains a talented, mission-driven staff. The CEO also serves as the primary spokesperson and ambassador for the client in the broader Seattle community.
Qualifications include at least five years of senior leadership experience in an organization of comparable or greater scale providing skilled nursing, senior living, elder care, rehabilitation, or other community-based services. The ideal candidate demonstrates deep commitment to and understanding of the cultural, linguistic, and social needs of Asian and diverse communities, along with strong financial acumen. The CEO is expected to be an advocate for culturally competent elder care and an inspirational, accountable leader who can translate community insight into clear direction and sustain a high-quality care environment through change.
