The client is seeking a dynamic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization through a critical period of renewal and growth. The CEO will provide strategic leadership and serve as the organization’s primary executive voice, reporting to the Board of Directors and supervising an experienced C-suite team. This role is focused on advancing mission impact while strengthening fundraising efforts, financial sustainability, organizational culture, and external engagement.
The CEO will be expected to strengthen the organization’s financial position, lead fundraising, and develop a clear and diversified approach to revenue. The role will also involve building, maintaining, and improving organizational culture and morale following a period of change, and establishing and executing focused, actionable strategic direction. In addition, the CEO will elevate the organization’s visibility and partnerships and strengthen its role within the broader disability and accessibility ecosystem.
The successful candidate will lead with transparency, empathy, and accountability, and be prepared to make difficult decisions when necessary. Typical CEO qualifications will include demonstrated executive leadership, strategic planning capability, and the ability to drive organizational change while building trust internally and externally.
