In close partnership with the Board and staff, the CEO will strengthen the organization’s identity, deepen its connection to the community, and advance its leadership in contemporary art at local, national, and broader levels.
The organization offers programs of exhibitions, education, and public engagement that reflect both local context and global conversations in contemporary art. As the client looks ahead, the next CEO is expected to fully activate the museum’s artistic, organizational, and geographic resources to increase clarity, visibility, attendance, and overall impact. The CEO will also leverage the region’s distinctive cultural landscape and civic partnerships to position the institution as an essential destination for contemporary art and ideas, resonant within the community and meaningfully connected to the wider field.
The CEO will collaborate with internal stakeholders to guide strategy and execution while helping ensure the institution’s continued relevance and growth. The role includes leading at an executive level to drive organizational effectiveness and support public-facing programming and community engagement.
