The client is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its next phase of impact, organizational development, global growth, and expanded funding opportunities. The organization’s mission focuses on improving access to highly complex pediatric surgical care and building durable healthcare capacity in partner countries, with work that may include pediatric surgical care as well as maternal and neonatal care.
The CEO will provide overall leadership for a geographically distributed, regionalized network that delivers direct care, supports clinician training, and advances health systems strengthening in partner settings. The role involves scaling services through medical volunteer networks and strengthening pathways that may enable children to receive care in-country, regionally, and for the most complex cases through partner international hospitals, supported by program reporting and clinical follow-up capabilities.
Reporting to the Executive Board of Directors, the CEO will be expected to help guide a strategic growth agenda that may include expanding into additional countries, strengthening and localizing international operations, increasing use of telehealth, and growing revenue through new partnerships and grant opportunities. The position is U.S.-based, with an East Coast location preferred to support connectivity with U.S.-based offices.
