the client is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead the organization through its next phase of growth and help shape its long-term strategic direction. The role will support the delivery of comprehensive healthcare services, including primary care, behavioral health, pharmacy, rehabilitation, and preventive health services for the communities it serves. The CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors to advance the organization’s future path while ensuring high-quality care.
The Chief Executive Officer will oversee day-to-day operations and execute the long-term strategic plan. Key responsibilities include oversight of a School Based Health Center and a Community Health Clinic, financial management, and programming and community engagement. The role is also expected to expand services by adding a dental clinic and developing additional specialty services such as obstetrics/gynecology, maternal health, audiology, podiatry, nephrology, and pediatrics, consistent with the organization’s growth priorities.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in public or business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field. A master’s degree in a related field and American College Executive healthcare credentials are preferred. The role requires at least five years of senior-level leadership experience, with experience in an Indian Health Service or tribal clinic healthcare setting strongly preferred; the client will also value strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and analytical problem-solving skills, and Native American identity is preferred.
