The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of our client reports directly to the Board of Trustees and is responsible for providing overall leadership, governance, and long-term sustainability for the organization. The CEO works closely with the Chief Education Officer to ensure alignment between educational priorities, organizational strategy, resource allocation, and system-wide performance, while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. As the principal advisor to the Board of Trustees, the CEO is accountable for financial stewardship, enterprise risk management, governance, labour relations, capital infrastructure planning, regulatory compliance, and overall organizational effectiveness.Guided by a commitment to equity, anti-oppression, human rights, inclusion, Indigenous Rights, Truth and Reconciliation, and public accountability, the CEO builds trusted relationships with employees, families, Indigenous communities, municipalities, government partners, and community stakeholders. Through strong governance, strategic leadership, and responsible management of resources, the CEO ensures our client is well-positioned to meet evolving community needs, support student success and well-being, and maintain public confidence in the organization. The CEO provides visionary and values-based leadership to advance the Board's strategic priorities, ensure effective stewardship of public resources, and strengthen the Board's long-term sustainability and operational effectiveness.
