The client is seeking an accomplished healthcare executive to lead its next phase of growth and community impact as the next Chief Executive Officer. The role will drive strategic initiatives, strengthen physician and community partnerships, enhance operational performance, and expand access to behavioral health services, with a focus on growing outpatient services and increasing inpatient census across both service lines.
The incoming Chief Executive Officer will provide clear direction and guidance to leaders and staff at all levels to support organizational stability, operational excellence, and long-term success. This leader is expected to influence strategic decision-making that sustains growth, demonstrate strong leadership presence, and work effectively independently without extensive oversight or micromanagement. The position also emphasizes building collaborative relationships across the organization and maintaining a forward-thinking, highly engaged approach.
Candidates should have a demonstrated record of increasing leadership responsibility within hospital, behavioral health, or comparable healthcare organizations, including several years in senior leadership or executive capacity, supported by approximately seven or more years of management experience. Strong behavioral health operational experience is required, including oversight of quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, workforce development, and budget management. A bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, behavioral health, or a closely related discipline is required, and graduate-level education is strongly preferred.
