The client is seeking an accomplished healthcare executive to lead its next phase of growth and community impact as the Chief Executive Officer. The CEO will drive strategic initiatives, strengthen physician and community partnerships, enhance operational performance, and expand access to behavioral health services. This leader will support strategic decision-making that furthers growth across outpatient and inpatient services, with key priorities focused on growing outpatient services and increasing inpatient census.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned healthcare leader with experience leading a free-standing behavioral health organization. The CEO is expected to provide clear direction and guidance to leaders and staff at all levels, supporting organizational stability, operational excellence, and long-term success. The role calls for a forward-thinking, highly engaged leader who can build collaborative relationships across the organization and work independently with minimal oversight.
Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, behavioral health, or a closely related discipline, with graduate-level education strongly preferred. Candidates should demonstrate increasing leadership responsibility within hospital, behavioral health, or comparable healthcare organizations, including approximately seven or more years of management experience in senior leadership or executive capacity. Proven experience overseeing behavioral health operations—including quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, workforce development, and budget management—is required.
