The client is seeking a senior executive-level leader to oversee the US domestic market for a high-end European luxury goods business serving a clientele of high net worth individuals. The role scope is expected to include leading the organization’s strategy and commercial performance in the US, with a final title that may align with executive management responsibilities such as US General Manager, Country Manager, US Managing Director, or a comparable senior VP/EVP-level position.
The ideal candidate is a luxury goods executive with strong experience in serving high-net-worth clients within the US market. Experience spanning both Sales and Marketing is preferred, and a background from luxury categories such as fashion, leather goods, jewelry, watches, or wine and spirits is desirable. Digital capability is also important, with prior experience in e-commerce and digital marketing being an advantage.
Qualifications include approximately 10 years of experience in the prestige/luxury goods industry, with ideal experience across both wholesale and retail. The role is expected to require P&L management ownership, along with experience that supports senior leadership functions. Prior experience from comparable luxury brands and leadership titles such as Senior Vice President, Executive Vice President, General Manager, Country Manager, Chief Executive Officer, or Chief Operating Officer is appreciated.
