They will lead efforts to strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community partners, and funders, to advance the Commission's objectives and enhance its impact in the region. The CEO will also be tasked with developing and implementing a comprehensive regional planning strategy that addresses current challenges and opportunities, while fostering collaboration and innovation among staff and partners.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful leadership in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment, with experience in strategic planning, organizational development, and relationship management. They will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse stakeholders towards a common vision. The CEO must also demonstrate a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, and have a deep understanding of the social, economic, and environmental issues facing the region.
