The client is seeking a CEO to lead the next phase of growth for an iconic luxury wine estate, balancing tradition with innovation. The role requires strategic vision and commercial leadership alongside operational excellence to enhance brand positioning, drive profitability, and strengthen the company’s global presence. The CEO will report to the Board and oversee all aspects of the business.

Key responsibilities include leading strategic planning and execution across all functions, overseeing brand development, marketing, and global sales channels, and ensuring operational excellence across vineyard, winemaking, and hospitality. The CEO will drive growth in direct-to-consumer and digital channels, manage financial planning and P&L, and build and lead a high-performing, values-driven team. The role also involves representing the brand publicly, engaging key stakeholders, and maintaining governance and legal compliance.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned executive with deep luxury wine or luxury goods expertise and a strong passion for brand building. They should bring demonstrated success leading a luxury wine or lifestyle brand, with strong business acumen and a track record of delivering results. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree (with an MBA preferred), strong understanding of sales, marketing, finance, and operations, and experience leading teams and scaling operations in both legacy and growth-stage environments. The candidate is expected to be Napa-based and willing to travel as needed.
