The client is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead its next phase of growth and development. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the CEO will strengthen financial sustainability, deepen partnerships, and increase the organisation’s influence and national profile within sport and social impact.
Key responsibilities include leading delivery of the organisation’s strategy and long-term vision; strengthening income generation and long-term sustainability; developing high-performing teams, culture, and organisational capability; acting as the principal ambassador with key stakeholders, funders, and partners; and ensuring strong governance, operational performance, and impact delivery.
Candidates will be ambitious, values-led leaders with credibility, strategic capability, and commercial acumen, supported by a successful track record leading a complex organisation or function with responsibility for strategy, performance, and delivery. The role requires experience of organisational growth, transformation, or performance improvement; securing income and developing partnerships to build sustainable funding streams; working effectively with Boards and senior stakeholders; and leading and developing high-performing teams through change. Excellent communication and ambassadorial skills are essential, alongside a genuine commitment to The client’s mission; previous Chief Executive experience may be welcomed but is not essential. The position is full-time and permanent, based in London with hybrid working arrangements and an expectation of regular presence in the London office to support leadership, collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and attendance at Board and key external meetings.
