The client is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead a large public service organisation focused on supporting the administration of justice. This pivotal role will build on recent transformation and measurable delivery progress, with the aim of further improving services to be modern, efficient, and accessible for users. The Chief Executive will help drive end-to-end service performance, including continued development of digital journeys and improvements in timeliness and efficiency across key areas.
As Chief Executive, you will lead an organisation of around 16,000 people operating across more than 350 locations. You will partner with senior leaders across the wider justice system to deliver outcomes that matter to citizens, communities, and the rule of law. The role requires operational grip alongside strategic ambition, maintaining strong focus on current performance while driving longer-term transformation and reform, using data, technology, and insight to improve results and reduce delays.
The client is looking for a proven leader with a strong track record in leading large, complex service organisations and delivering at scale in demanding environments. You must be able to drive performance and change in parallel, demonstrating judgement, credibility, and emotional intelligence to work effectively across organisational boundaries. A visible, values-led leadership approach is expected, with the ability to engage and inspire a large and diverse workforce.
