We are seeking an outstanding, values-driven Chief Executive Officer to lead the client into its next phase. The client is an independent quality body for tertiary education with a global reputation for quality assurance, trusted to safeguard standards and enhance the quality of learning. The role will help ensure students remain at the heart of everything the organization does and that higher education continues to command confidence at home and internationally.
The Chief Executive Officer will provide strategic, operational, and cultural leadership across the organization, setting a clear, future-focused direction aligned to its purpose and objectives. The CEO will drive impact and growth through a more commercially focused approach, developing new income streams, partnerships, and services to support long-term sustainability. They will also lead people and culture by inspiring and enabling a high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative organization across a flexible, geographically dispersed workforce.
The CEO will act as a visible ambassador, strengthening relationships with governments, regulators, sector partners, and international stakeholders, while working closely with the Board to uphold strong governance, integrity, accountability, and effective risk management. The successful candidate will be a strategic and collaborative leader with senior leadership experience in a complex organization, a proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, and demonstrated capability to drive growth, innovation, or organizational transformation, along with a strong understanding of the higher education landscape or a closely related regulated environment.
