The client is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Kings College Hospital Charity in South London. The charity supports life-changing care at Kings College Hospital in Denmark Hill, one of the largest NHS hospitals in London. The CEO will be responsible for expanding support across three major hospitals in South-East London, raising the charity's profile nationally, and driving growth in income and impact. They will work closely with the Board, build partnerships, and lead a team of 26.5 FTE staff to improve patient care and experience through voluntary income and grants.
The ideal candidate will have extensive leadership and management experience at a senior level, preferably in the charity or health sectors. They should have a proven track record in strategic planning, collaborating with a Board, and engaging stakeholders at local, regional, and national levels. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential, as well as a commitment to promoting excellence, equity, diversity, and inclusion within the organisation. The CEO should also have financial acumen, experience in managing budgets, and a genuine passion for the charity's mission and values.
