Description

the client is a physician-led gastroenterology and digestive health platform serving a large patient population through a multi-location network. Its integrated model of care spans physician services and related outpatient and ancillary offerings, with an emphasis on clinical research and high-quality patient outcomes.

the client is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to partner closely with the Board of Directors and physician leadership to define and execute the organization’s long-term vision. In this role, the CEO will strengthen alignment across stakeholders, enhance organizational infrastructure, advance strategic planning, improve operational performance, and identify opportunities for geographic expansion and service line development. Key responsibilities include defining and executing enterprise strategy and operating priorities, driving operational excellence (including performance improvement and revenue cycle optimization), establishing enterprise performance metrics and accountability frameworks, leading growth initiatives, and building and developing a high-performing executive leadership team while maintaining a culture centered on clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and employee engagement.

the client expects an experienced healthcare executive with a demonstrated track record leading complex, multi-site provider organizations through growth and transformation. Preferred qualifications include prior CEO experience and experience in physician practice management, ambulatory surgery centers, or multi-site healthcare services organizations, along with strong knowledge of provider operations and payor dynamics. The ideal candidate will have proven strategic, financial, and operational acumen, demonstrated success partnering with physicians and clinical leadership, excellent communication skills and executive presence, and a history of building accountable, collaborative teams and cultures. A bachelor’s degree is required, with an advanced degree preferred.
