The client is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to provide strategic leadership and drive company growth with ultimate responsibility for all functional areas. The CEO will report directly to the Board of Directors, serve as a Board member, and work closely with a private equity investor. In addition, the role is expected to partner with founding owners, lead the company’s brands, and advocate for a culture that supports innovation, growth, and identity.
Key responsibilities include managing, building, and optimizing the company’s brands and reputation by developing industry expertise, serving as a thought leader, and optimizing pricing and margins. The CEO will also launch adjacent services aligned with market needs, expand geographic presence through growth of satellite offices, and recruit and develop talent through appropriate organizational design that balances shared corporate services with nimble market operations and preserves brand equity. The CEO is expected to develop the executive team to support growth and scale.
The CEO will lead acquisition and integration of add-ons by partnering with leadership and founding owners to develop an M&A pipeline, negotiate and structure transactions, and oversee due diligence and post-closing integration. This includes decisions related to company locations and functions, the optimal use of internal and acquired talent, efficiency and synergy opportunities, and an evolving go-to-market strategy. The role will further focus on improving operational capabilities through technology-enabled process improvement across key service delivery areas, strengthening customer acquisition through competitive positioning and channel partner development, and building a culture of performance and continuous process improvement using goal-setting, accountability, and key performance indicators.
