The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for our client, reporting to the Board of Directors and working under the direction of the Minister of Health and Wellness. They will oversee the overall performance of the organization, working closely with various stakeholders including governments, health professionals, community partners, patients, families, and staff to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, sustainable, and person-centered care throughout the province. The CEO will drive innovation, quality improvement, workforce engagement, and system integration, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning within the organization.As the public face of our client, the CEO will be tasked with building trust and confidence among Islanders and strengthening relationships with stakeholders across the health system. They will champion the organization's mandate while advancing initiatives to improve healthcare services and outcomes for the community. The successful candidate will be expected to lead with integrity, vision, and a commitment to excellence, driving forward the organization's mission to provide accessible and effective healthcare services to the people of Prince Edward Island.
