MSPEI is looking for a new CEO to lead the organization in advocating for its members and influencing policies that strengthen the provincial health system. The CEO will report to the Board of Directors and work closely with physicians, Health PEI, and the PEI Department of Health and Wellness to ensure effective implementation of the physician services agreement and advance the Society's strategic priorities. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive system-level change, strengthen physician engagement, and support the well-being and professional success of members by building strong relationships and understanding their needs.The CEO will be responsible for developing and executing MSPEI's strategic plan, overseeing organizational operations, managing a small team, and maintaining consistent engagement with members to ensure their priorities are reflected in the Society's work. They will also lead contract negotiations, oversee compensation and benefits frameworks, and deliver initiatives such as coaching, leadership development, peer support, and continuing professional development. While the organization works remotely, the CEO and team must be visible and present for the membership and stakeholders, fostering collaborative relationships across the health system and ensuring alignment and shared purpose.
