Provide visionary leadership and drive meaningful impact as the Chief Executive Officer of The client in Carroll, Iowa. This is a permanent, onsite role with primary responsibility for setting strategy, leading organizational execution, and ensuring the mission is advanced through effective leadership and oversight.
Requirements include a bachelor’s degree, with a master’s degree strongly preferred. The role calls for a minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience, including executive-level leadership, and experience within an organization serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is strongly preferred.
The client is a nonprofit dedicated to enriching the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through dignity, independence, choice, and self-fulfillment. Responsibilities will include leading and sustaining a comprehensive continuum of services such as residential living, supported employment, home and community-based services, vocational training, and day programming, along with guiding a mission focused on inclusion, empowerment, quality care, innovation, and meaningful partnerships. Compensation includes a base salary range of $175,000 to $200,000 annually, with potential eligibility for additional benefits such as health insurance, retirement benefits, and bonuses, and total compensation determined based on role scope, experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and evaluation factors.
