The CEO reports to the Board of Directors and works directly with the Executive and provides the strategic, financial, operational, and administrative leadership of the Association. Working closely with the Board, members, staff, governments, and industry partners, the CEO advances CHBA's strategic priorities and ensures the Association continues to provide strong value to its members. The CEO leads the Association's advocacy efforts with federal decision-makers while strengthening relationships with provincial and local associations and a broad range of external partners. As the chief spokesperson, the CEO represents CHBA with governments, industry, the media, and other key audiences, while ensuring the Association remains a trusted and influential voice on the issues affecting Canada's residential construction industry. The CEO is also responsible for the effective management of the Association, ensuring sound financial stewardship, strong governance, and an organization that is well positioned to respond to the opportunities and challenges facing the sector.
