The client seeks a dynamic, mission-driven, externally oriented Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its next chapter of growth and impact. the organization is a comprehensive, trauma-informed nonprofit dedicated to caring for and protecting adult and child survivors of domestic abuse, helping them rebuild safe, secure, and independent lives. its services include emergency shelter, housing stabilization, and community support, supported by comprehensive case management and related crisis intervention, benefits and legal assistance, employment and education guidance, and advocacy.
The client has undergone significant growth, including expanded physical capacity and plans for further facility development to integrate parts of its campus and strengthen its service footprint. the CEO is expected to strengthen fundraising infrastructure, deepen community partnerships, and build financial resilience in a complex and evolving funding environment that may involve a mix of government contracts and financing structures, as well as an affiliated early learning program. stepping into the role, the CEO will build on strong foundations, including an experienced senior leadership team and an engaged board that is actively growing a fundraising culture, supported by committed development leadership and an existing base of individual donors, foundation partners, and corporate sponsors.
