The client is seeking a CEO to provide strategic leadership at a pivotal stage of its evolution from exploration to commercial-scale production. Reporting to the Board, the CEO will execute the transition across technical, operational, and corporate teams, while actively identifying and assessing strategic growth opportunities such as joint ventures, acquisitions, and partnerships in alignment with the company’s long-term objectives.
Key responsibilities include overseeing production assets to ensure feasibility, permitting, construction, and JV production milestones are achieved safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Disciplined capital allocation, cost control, and effective cash flow management are expected to underpin delivery of shareholder value.
The CEO will act as the principal representative and engage with investors, analysts, government, First Nations groups, communities, and strategic partners, with transparent and timely communication to the Board and ASX stakeholders. Governance and risk oversight will include compliance with ASX listing requirements, ESG standards, and environmental and safety regulations, while fostering a culture of integrity and responsible resource development. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strategic mindset, technical credibility typically supported by a mining engineering or geology background, strong execution capability in project development through approvals and commissioning, advanced commercial acumen, and the ability to lead multi-stakeholder relationships and build a high-performance culture in a fast-moving environment.
