The Chief Executive Officer position at BCFNZ involves leading the organization through its next phase of impact, influence, and sustainability. This role requires engaging with government, the clinical community, donors, and the public to drive meaningful change for those affected by breast cancer. The CEO will work closely with the Board to shape and deliver strategic priorities, ensure strong organizational performance, and future-proof the Foundation's revenue model through innovation and commercial thinking. Leading a team of approximately 50 staff, the CEO will oversee fundraising, research, advocacy, marketing, and patient support, while also building BCFNZ's influence within the national health system and with central government.The CEO will be responsible for leading evidence-based advocacy to ensure that proven, life-saving interventions, such as access to effective medicines and therapies, are appropriately recognized, prioritized, and funded. They will play a key role in translating the Foundation's data, insights, and clinical credibility into meaningful policy and funding decisions, positioning BCFNZ as a trusted and influential voice in the field. Overall, the CEO will serve as the public face of the Foundation, driving strategic initiatives, building partnerships, and ensuring organizational alignment, capability, and performance to further the mission of BCFNZ.
