In this role, the Chief Executive will provide strategic leadership and shape the clients future, focusing on reinforcing its reputation. They will be responsible for delivering the strategy, implementing key recommendations, and keeping the client financially strong and commercially adaptable.
The position requires strategic clarity, emotional intelligence, and strong engagement with stakeholders. The CEO represents the client to government, industry, and media while advocating for high standards and driving innovation. Key duties include advancing the UKs largest food assurance scheme, executing strategy and business plans, and ensuring the client's financial health and growth.
The role also includes upholding the client's values, fostering a positive culture, building robust stakeholder relationships, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate for this role is a leader with a proven track record of achieving results through managing high?performance teams. They should possess strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, operate effectively in fast-paced and uncertain environments, and demonstrate financial acumen and commercial insight with experience in business development and budget management.
Excellent communication abilities and consensus-based decision-making are crucial, along with an understanding of the food supply chain and regulatory settings. Experience at senior or board level within a member, service, or not?for?profit organization is preferred.
