The role of Chief Digital Officer involves leading the Digital Transformation and Technology Group within the aviation sector, with a focus on shaping and delivering the digital strategy of our client. Reporting to the Director of Civil Aviation, the CDO will be responsible for embedding digital as a core strategic enabler and enhancing organizational digital capability. This role includes providing advice and insights to the Executive Leadership Team and Board to ensure alignment of digital and data capabilities with strategic priorities, strengthening governance and decision-making, and accelerating transformation across the organization.The Chief Digital Officer will play a key role in evolving our client as a modern, intelligence-led regulator by focusing on transforming, simplifying, and standardizing key processes and functions. This includes a strong emphasis on collaboration internally and with industry stakeholders to enhance regulatory practices within the aviation sector. The CDO will be accountable for regulating and working with the aviation sector through policy and rule setting, education and engagement, certification and licensing, monitoring and investigation, and security delivery. This position is crucial in driving our client towards a more efficient and effective regulatory framework in line with industry standards and best practices.
