The client seeks a Chief Development Officer to plan, direct, and implement a successful fundraising program to achieve annual fundraising and underwriting goals. This role will lead a results-oriented development team focused on growing donors and revenue, and will serve as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team to support station-wide strategic priorities and cross-organizational collaboration.
The Chief Development Officer will oversee Major Gifts, Leadership Society, Planned Giving, and Annual Membership programs, while guiding stewardship and database activities to ensure these efforts are executed effectively. The role will also manage a Business Underwriting team to help cultivate and steward corporate partners, strengthening the organization’s revenue pipeline.
For this leadership position, the client expects strong management capabilities and the ability to build a culture of philanthropy across the organization while contributing to the evolution and long-term sustainability of community-focused public media. The Chief Development Officer will be expected to support new and innovative member engagement approaches and help connect the region through effective development strategies.
