The client is seeking a Chief Development Officer (CDO) to lead contributed revenue generation for a nonprofit focused on financial and investment education, mentorship, and career guidance for students—especially young women. The role is based in Nashville, Tennessee, and will support programming that helps learners progress from classroom experiences into internships, career exploration, and long-term opportunities in financial services.
The CDO will serve as the organization’s lead fundraiser, designing and executing a comprehensive, multi-year development strategy across corporate, foundation, and individual giving. Working closely with the CEO, the Board of Directors, and senior leadership, the CDO is expected to cultivate an institutional culture of philanthropy, manage a portfolio of high-value donors and prospects, and build strategic relationships with corporations and foundations aligned with the organization’s mission.
In addition, the CDO will help advance collaboration with partners and supporters by strengthening talent pipelines through meaningful industry connections and outreach. This includes forging alliances and supporting integrated development activities that align fundraising efforts with The client’s mission-driven programming and long-term career impact.
