The client is seeking a Chief Development Officer (CDO) to lead the revitalization of its development operations. The CDO will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, managing a development team, and strengthening donor relationships. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of fundraising experience, including major gift solicitation, and be comfortable working in lean, entrepreneurial environments.
The CDO will work closely with the CEO, board, and senior leadership to align fundraising strategy with the client's mission and long-term goals. They will also represent the client with donors, foundations, and strategic partners to expand visibility and support. The successful candidate will have a vibrant Christian faith and a deep commitment to the client's mission of serving as a witness to Christ through global healthcare.
This fully remote position offers flexibility for domestic and international travel. The CDO will report to the CEO and collaborate with operational, program, and finance teams. Compensation is projected to be $150,000-$160,000 plus an annual incentive bonus.
