The Chief Data Officer (CDO) will report to the UW Medicine Chief Information Officer and the UW Chair of BIME for scholarship and education. They will be responsible for advancing our client's enterprise analytics, including data governance, data integration, and artificial intelligence strategy. The CDO will ensure that our client's data assets are effectively utilized to drive strategic decision-making, operational excellence, patient-centered care innovation, research, and education. They will define the vision for a data-driven organization and ensure that actionable insights support our client's mission of improving public health. The CDO will oversee the healthcare data and analytics group within UW Medicine IT Services, providing leadership for data warehousing, reporting, decision support, AI/ML systems, and advanced analytics capabilities.As the institutional leader for data and AI, the CDO will play a crucial role in shaping our client's approach to leveraging data for organizational success. They will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that maximize the value of data assets and drive innovation in healthcare delivery. The CDO will provide executive and technical leadership for the healthcare data and analytics group, ensuring that data-driven insights directly contribute to our client's mission. This role will be instrumental in driving the organization towards becoming a more data-driven entity, with a focus on improving patient outcomes and advancing healthcare research and education.
