The client is seeking to appoint a values-driven, inspiring, and inclusive Chief Culture and People Officer to join its Board. Working in partnership with the Board and Care Group leadership teams, the role will lead sustainable cultural change and help deliver the People Strategy as an enabler of the wider Organisation Strategy. The Chief Culture and People Officer will role model the organization’s values and promote a culture of kindness, openness, and excellence within the People Directorate and across the client.
The client is focused on large-scale transformation and continues an improvement journey following an updated quality assessment. The Chief Culture and People Officer will bring experience that supports cultural and people-related improvements in a complex, multi-site environment, including unionised settings and a workforce distributed across multiple locations. The role typically requires board-level leadership or immediate sub-board leadership in a very large organization, with a track record of leading complex change and improvement.
Key responsibilities are expected to include workforce strategy and planning, organisational development, and employee engagement, underpinned by strong communication and influencing skills. The successful candidate will be able to build trusted relationships and engage staff at all levels, ensuring people feel heard, supported, and inspired.
