the client is hiring a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to shape and execute the organization’s commercial strategy and to unify sales approaches into standardized, company-wide processes. this executive role combines strategic leadership with team development and a strong focus on delivering commercial results, sustainable growth, and durable client relationships across a diversified holding structure.
key responsibilities include developing and implementing a commercial strategy aligned with the organization’s global vision and objectives; defining commercial policy and setting sales targets covering revenue and margin; and managing acquisition, retention, and development of key client relationships. the CCO will build customer-centric processes and procedures, supporting digital and product solution development, and will design, optimize, and standardize commercial processes across the organization while fostering accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
the successful applicant will typically have an undergraduate degree, preferably in economics or a related field, and extensive experience in sales or commercial roles, including senior leadership experience in an international environment. requirements include strong commercial and financial expertise, experience across B2B with public procurement (public tenders) and B2C, excellent analytical and strategic thinking, proven leadership with the ability to build high-performing teams, strong communication and negotiation skills, a proactive and highly ethical approach, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment; very good command of English is expected. experience collaborating at board level is an additional asset, and prior chief operating officer experience in complex companies may be advantageous.
