In this role, the CCO leads the Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams to meet the clients strategic and business objectives. Key responsibilities include designing a commercial strategy for market entry and growth, establishing performance metrics, overseeing market research, and optimizing market and channel entry strategies. Additionally, the CCO guides the Sales team to meet sales and revenue targets, develops business strategies to expand market share and customer bases, and collaborates with Category Directors to adjust product portfolios to regional demands. The CCO is tasked with launching new products and ensuring successful market positioning, pricing strategies, and promotional activities aligned with customer needs.
Leadership and collaboration are central to the CCOs responsibilities. The CCO builds strong relationships with international traders, partners, and internal teams such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and R&D to ensure cohesive execution of commercial strategies. Furthermore, the CCO partners with the Chief Innovation & Quality Officer to align product development with commercial and sustainability goals and leads the integration of AI solutions to enhance commercial processes. By developing the commercial team, the CCO fosters a high-performance culture, sets strategic goals, and mentors team members. Performance measurement through revenue growth, profit margins, and marketing efficiency are key indicators of success in this role.
