The client is seeking an experienced Chief AI Officer to join their senior executive team. This is a first-of-its-kind, AI-first transformation leadership role with enterprise-wide scope, combining strategic vision with hands-on execution. As a key architect of the client’s AI agenda, the Chief AI Officer will help define offerings, scale AI capabilities, and support client-centered innovation as generative AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation drive new technology building, buying, and delivery expectations.
The Chief AI Officer will lead high-value, externally facing client engagements and shape AI use cases, particularly in early-stage or undefined domains, while advising senior executives on AI-driven transformation. They will continuously evolve the company’s AI vision, offerings, and go-to-market strategy, deepen partnerships with cloud, data, and platform providers to build differentiated scalable solutions, and amplify the client’s AI voice through industry presence and media engagement. The role also involves serving as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team, contributing to board- and investor-facing narratives that support AI-first value creation, and partnering with delivery teams to embed AI capabilities into delivery frameworks and scale them across regions.
Requirements include proven experience leading high-impact, client-facing AI initiatives and the ability to influence and advise C-suite stakeholders on AI strategy and execution. The client is looking for demonstrated success defining and scaling AI go-to-market offerings, strong partnership management skills across cloud and platform ecosystems, and executive presence with comfort engaging with CEOs, boards, and investors on strategy and performance. The role expects operational expertise in scaling AI teams through repeatable systems and frameworks, deep technical fluency in AI/ML and emerging technologies (including generative AI and data frameworks), and a collaborative, urgency-driven, outcome-oriented approach characterized by low ego and high ownership in ambiguous environments.
