The client is seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) to lead fundraising, communications, and marketing efforts as it enters its next chapter of growth and impact. The CAO will report to the Chief Executive Officer and will play a key role in strengthening the organization’s external presence, building durable relationships with donors, partners, and community stakeholders, and securing philanthropic investments aligned with The client’s mission.
In this role, the CAO will work as a senior partner to elevate The client’s profile and expand a culture of giving. Responsibilities will include leading and developing an advancement team, cultivating relationships with corporate, foundation, and individual donors, and connecting advancement activities to student and community outcomes. The ideal candidate is an accomplished advancement leader who is energized by mission-driven work and growth, with a demonstrated ability to help advance philanthropic goals.
The client offers a flexible, hybrid schedule that is expected to include at least three days per week in the organization’s Center City office or off-site with donors. The organization supports a large, ongoing group of students through middle school onward, with advising and enrichment programming focused on expanding educational and economic opportunities.
