the client seeks a collaborative, strategic, and mission-driven Chief Administrator for Community Programs to serve as a key member of the senior leadership team. Reporting to the President & CEO, the Chief Administrator will provide executive leadership and operational oversight for a large, complex community-based service system, helping ensure high-quality, person-centered services and strengthening overall organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and long-term strategy and growth.

This role leads a seasoned team, including senior directors and other key leaders, and oversees a large support workforce. Responsibilities include delivering executive oversight for residential and community-based programs across a broad network of sites and services, advancing operational effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and financial sustainability, and balancing long-term strategic planning with hands-on attention to program performance, staffing, site operations, emergency response, and service quality. The Chief Administrator will leverage data, community input, and emerging trends to improve outcomes and identify opportunities for innovation and growth.

The Chief Administrator will mentor and develop leaders across a decentralized system, fostering a culture of shared accountability, collaboration, professional growth, and transparency. They will support workforce development through meaningful training and leadership advancement opportunities, represent the organization with families, guardians, community organizations, service providers, funders, and regulatory agencies, and partner with internal functions to align messaging with program priorities and outcomes. The role also includes financial stewardship for community programs through budget development, resource allocation, forecasting, and performance monitoring, partnering with Finance to address risks and variances while maintaining compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and licensing.
