The Chief Accountant will be responsible for supporting the Finance Director in preparing budgets, forecasts, and monthly management accounts for operations in Poland, Ukraine, and Asian markets. They will oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensure compliance with Group accounting policies, and supervise a team of three accounting professionals. The Chief Accountant will also prepare financial statements, tax declarations, and reports for the management board, as well as communicate with external institutions and monitor regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
The ideal candidate will have a University Degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting, with experience managing accounting in an international company. They should have experience in team management, representing the company to authorities and auditors, and a strong understanding of Polish GAAP and accounting processes. Knowledge of Tax regulations, ERP systems, and excellent English language skills are also required.
