The client is seeking expressions of interest from enthusiastic and energetic individuals to join its board as Chairperson or Co-Chairperson. This is a voluntary role with a two-year term cycle. The position provides an opportunity to help implement and support the success of the client’s 3-year strategy for 2024–2027, focused on effective regional enterprise development.
As board chair, you will help guide the client’s governance and strategic direction while supporting its activities as an enterprise hub. The client provides facilities and support programs for startups and scale-ups, and it runs initiatives designed to support sustainable growth and expansion, including programs that aim to help regional businesses scale and create additional jobs.
The board includes four sub-committees: Financial/Risk & Audit, Tenancy, Marketing, and a Program Committee. The chair or co-chair will work with board members and stakeholders to support entrepreneurship and economic growth, and to oversee the continued delivery of the client’s strategy and initiatives within the regional community.
