The Ruth Strauss Foundation is looking for a new Chair to take over from Terry Grote OBE as the organization moves into its next phase of growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding the Foundation's future strategy, impact, and development as it transitions beyond its start-up phase. Working closely with the founder, Sir Andrew Strauss, and the CEO, the incoming Chair will oversee a board of independent trustees to ensure the Foundation continues to make a positive difference in the community.The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and strategic planning, ideally within the non-profit sector. They will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders. The new Chair will play a crucial role in shaping the Foundation's direction and ensuring its continued success in supporting those affected by cancer.
