SCIPSA is currently seeking a new Chair for IPSA, a key leadership role within an independent statutory body undergoing modernization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring IPSA maintains its independence, integrity, and transparency while delivering a responsive and effective service that garners the confidence of both Parliament and the public. Working closely with the Chief Executive and Board, the Chair will provide visible and authoritative leadership, setting long-term strategic direction, overseeing statutory duties, and holding the executive accountable. Additionally, the Chair will represent IPSA publicly, including in the media and before parliamentary committees.This role presents a unique opportunity to lead IPSA during a significant moment in its development, as it continues to evolve its regulatory approach and service model. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, the ability to balance public assurance with fair and responsive service delivery, and a commitment to upholding the values of independence and transparency.
