the client is seeking a new Chair to lead the Board at an important point in the client’s development. The role will support the delivery of a new centre in st pancras, bringing together clinical care, research, and education, while also ensuring the client continues to deliver high-quality services, maintain strong governance, and remain resilient in a complex and changing healthcare landscape.
As Chair, you will set the tone for the Board and the organisation by promoting robust governance, constructive challenge, and sound long-term decision-making. You will work closely with the Chief Executive, fellow Board members, and the Council of Governors to help shape strategic direction, support effective leadership, and foster a culture of openness, collaboration, and accountability. You will also represent the client externally, building constructive relationships across the healthcare system and with partners in research, education, and life sciences.
